To our valued Clients & Customers,
ISTC / BEST Complex would like to thank you all for your patience during our outage due to Hurricane Ike.
The following information is provided in response to numerous requests for information on our various Training Centers:
BEST Complex is continuing to assess potential damage to buildings, classrooms, and props. Power has been restored to the Complex. While the assessment is ongoing, Industrial Fire and Rescue Training events have been cancelled for the remainder of September. Fireguard courses are on normal schedule and frequency.
The ISTC Nederland Training Center, where our corporate office is located, is open and running a full schedule on normal hours. There has been damage to one outside classroom building and this has caused an adjustment to the availability times of Basic-Plus. That course continues to be offered twice per day M-F at 7am and 12 Noon.
The Port Arthur Training Center will open with normal operating hours Wednesday, September 24, 2008. There is no damage to ISTC offices at that location.
The Beaumont Training Center will open with normal operating hours no later than Wednesday, September 24, 2008. There is no damage to ISTC offices at that location.
The Baytown Training Center has no damage and is operating a full schedule on normal hours.
We appreciate your concern for our well being and hope that you and your families are safe.
